LINDSTRØM - "IT'S A FEEDELITY AFFAIR"
LINDSTRØM: 8,4 PITCHFORK REVIEW
Pitchfork has a great 8,4 review of Lindstrøm`s "It`s A Feedelity Affair" album. Here is some of what it says "This collection of the Norwegian producer's best-loved 12" tracks succintly demonstrates why both he and his epic space-disco sound has been among the most ubiquitous forces in modern dance music. The compilation largely foregoes the multi-hued fragrancy and soft-rock glide of Lindstrøm's recent work with frequent partner Prins Thomas in favour of ostentatiously astral motifs (particularly roaming, noodly synth solos) and more pronounced dancefloor grooves".
LINDSTRØM: 5 OUT OF 5 REVIEW IN DJ MAGAZINE!
"Sublime nordic disco. For those who haven`t been near a dancefloor recently, Feedelity`s succintly collects the best bits from the first nine EPs by Norwegian producer Lindstrom. Performing a balancing act that features sloppy, unquantized beats and live bass lines (Can It For The Original Whities), freeform funk freakouts (There Is A Drink In My Bedroom..) with squelchy Italo grooves (I Feel Space), Lindstrom really excels when he combines these space disco elements on Arp She Said. It`s a midtempo track of such exquisite beauty that it sends shivers down my spine everytime I hear it. If it can have that effect on a cynical hack, just think what it could do to you" - (5/5, DJ MAGAZINE)
LINDSTRØM: GREAT UNCUT REVIEW (4/5)
"From Norway comes the scene`s poster-boy, Hans-Peter Lindstrom, remixer of Franz Ferdinand and LCD Soundsystem. An unshaven C&W fan and rugged outdoors type, Lindstrom`s intuitive, organic approach to disco and funk is celebrated on It`s A Feedelity Affair, a joyous round-up of the vinyl only singles on his Feedelity imprint. Lindstrom plays real instruments, samples himself, picks out melodies on guitar - and there is more than a hint of Moroder to the celestial twirls of "Music On My Mind" - (4/5, Piers Martin, UNCUT)

LINDSTRØM - "THE CONTEMPORARY FIX" (Feed008/12")
side A :: LINDSTRØM - THE CONTEMPORARY FIX
Lindstrøm finally got around to play & record the banjo he bought in NYC last summer. It takes time to practise & learn to play the banjo. Lindstrom needed a year to make the simple banjo-lick used on "The Contemporary Fix", the 9th Feedelity release. Banjo, autoharp & clavinet together with acid squiggles on top of live disco-drums.
Previously released as a 500 limited single-sided white promo 12" in July, now finally available with both versions.
"Not content providing us with a ready-made summer anthem already - I'm talking about "Another Station" - Hans-Peter teases us with the follow-up, which is set the rule the latter half of 2006 and beyond. "The Contemporary Fix" is the much-anticipated new Feedelity track which has been under more guarded secrecy than the Coca Cola recipe. You'd have to have witnessed a Lindstrom or Prins Thomas DJ set to hear it out, although Pete Tong was allowed a single play of it on his show back in April. This is the track which makes everyone go 'What was that incredible new version of the Chaplin Band's "Il Veliero"?!'." - Piccadilly Records / UK
"Proper balearic-acid-rave music!" - Balearic Mike

FEEDELITY REMIXED VOL 1 (Feed007/12")
side A :: LINDSTRØM - A BLAST OF LOSER (Mungolian Jetset 9406 remix)
Feedelity release no 8 (12" vinyl / feed007) comes with two remixes by norwegian producers Mungolian Jetset and New York producer Brennan Green. Mungolian Jetset treats the previously unreleased "A Blast Of Loser" with mid-nineties drum-sounds, warped guitars and bluesy vocals. The result is an uptempo bastard of a remix which turns into epic proposions clocking in at almost 13 minutes. On the flip-side Brennan Green keeps some of the basic melodic elements from "Pesto Og Kolera", and adds a new bassline, some strange guitar-picking and lots of live-keys.
Mungolian Jetset is Pål "Strangefruit" Nyhus & Knut Sævik. Their recent productions include a Kreeps-remix on Output and a wild acid-cover of Bob Marleys "Could You Be Loved" under the Pizzy Yelliot moniker. Besides, Pål is probably the most known & loved dj in Norway, and the reason why Prins Thomas started playing records 15 years ago. He also works as a dj and musician with Nils Petter Molvær (ECM). The Mungolian Jetset album "Beauty Came To Us In Stone" gets an international release on Jazzland later this year.
Brennan Green works in New York, and is responsible for countless releases on labels such as Modal, Balihu and Bear Funk, and countless remixes; amongst the the massive/infamous "Electrocution" mix of Block 16 he did together with Daniel Wang on Nuphonic. Brennan plays any instrument he gets his hand on, and started up his new label Chinatown earlier this year.
Available on 12" vinyl from the 3rd of july
LINDSTRØM - "ANOTHER STATION" w/Todd Terje Remix (Feed006/12")
side A :: ANOTHER STATION
Another Station is a balearic disco-number with cheesy early-house-piano, 8bit bontempi-drums and lush flanger-strings, perfect for those really late nights/early mornings. Todd Terje adds his truly impressive fingerprints on the remix, picking up the speed a lil' bit, and incorporates harmony-vocals and a new totally irresistible bass-line (…and even more cold winds!).
